Approximately 500 Duroc boars are housed at TSG, all with a complete test record. All boars place in the top 10% of boars produced at Shade Oak Swine. We feel this is the most uniform group of elite boars available in Canada today. These boars are available in a number of different pools to meet each customer's unique needs.
Our Yorkshire boars are strong, durable and structurally correct. They are selected from the most productive maternal lines available from the Alliance of Independent Breeders. Mothering ability is one of our top criteria when selecting new sires. To us, the ability to raise large, uniform litters is just as important as number born alive. We keep about 20 Yorkshires in our stud at all times.
Our Landrace lines are large-framed, structurally sound and very prolific. Strong feet and legs are a must for all boars in our stud. Many visitors have commented that this is the best group of boars that have come across in a long time. We invite you to check them out for yourself. We have 15-25 Landrace available at all times, making this one of the largest groups available in Canada today.
